Adam Blake: A Journey Through Dance and Ice

Adam Blake has been choreographing since he was a young boy and has an extensive background in Hip-Hop dance, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and tap.

Adam performed with Disney on Ice for eight years as a Principal skater and line captain. Since 2009, he has been winning professional choreography competitions like the Proskater’s Virtual Skate Off, Young Artist Showcase, and the U.S. Open. He was the recipient of the Grassroots to Champion’s “Champion in Life” Award and received the “Creative Visionary” Award at the 2015 U.S. Open.

In 2015, Adam produced, directed, and choreographed his own, one-of-a-kind ice show with a live band: “Music, Best Served Cold”. Since then he has assisted with choreography for two Disney on Ice shows and has choreographed Dynamic Show’s “Volkswagen AutoStadt Skating Spectacular”, Opening Ceremonies for the 2016 World Figure Skating Championships, and Show Programs for World, Olympic and National Competitors including Ross Miner and Kimmie Meissner.

In 2016, Adam served as Associate Choreographer for the Haydenettes’ Free Skate program, their first gold medal in the free skate, at the 2016 Synchro World Championships. Most recently, he was the Ice Choreographer for Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey’s newest production “Out of this World”.

Adam is the Artistic Director of The Skating Club of Boston’s Theatre On Ice program.
