As a 9 World Figure Skating Championships competitor, and 9 European Figure Skating Championships competitor, 10-time National Champions of Azerbaijan,

Kristen Fraser (now Fraser-Lukanin) began skating with Igor Lukanin in 2000. Together they competed in the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympic Games, 9 World Figure Skating Championships and 9 European Figure Skating Championships. They are 9-time National Champions of Azerbaijan (he 10 time National Champion) and competed on the ISU Grand Prix circuit for 9 consecutive years. During Kristen’s competitive career she had the pleasure of performing on tours such as the Italian Champions On Ice 2007 and 2008 Northers, Italy, Ingolstadt 2007 and Munich Phylharmonic 2007, Munich, Germany, and Ice Symphony 2008, Baku, Azerbaijan. 

In addition to her illustrious competitive and performance career, Kristen has been the Director of Figure Skating at Floyd Hall Arena, now Montclair State Arena in Little Falls, NJ since 2008, an ISU Technical Specialist in Ice Dance, and has recently added a MS is Sports Psychology to her resume. Her MS in Sports Psychology allows her to effectively motivate and enforce positivity in her training and consulting sessions. These positions have put her on the front lines of business of the sport, affording her expertise not found in just any coach. She heads programs form the very most basic recreational skater to International competitors, train and monitor young and experienced ice skating coaches in the field as well as off ice training professionals. 

Trained under such coaches as Genrikh Sretenski (1992 and 1999 World Professional Champion), Alexander Zhulin (1994 Olympic Silver Medalist), and Nikolai Morozov (coach to 2002 Olympic Gold Medalist Alexei Yagudin, 2006 Olympic Gold Medalist Shizuka Arakawa) Kristen Fraser and Igor Lukanin have a wealth of knowledge to offer your skating family in many capacities.
